I was just at the LHS, they make them arms for every dang brand of servo, Hitec, JR, Futaba, I am guessing they are all a little different. I have had good luck with the ones I had for futaba on the BMS servos in the twist... The servo its self failed, but not related to the arm

which Dubro arms did you get? The ones for Futaba, or another brand?
They are expensive but the aluminum ones from other vendors are even more expensive - $12-18$ per arm!

Yes, those do look very sweet! Too bad the vendor is overseas....long shipping times.

But I do notice that they have a US distributor: http://www.aztechaeromodels.com/

(I edited my last post, but I wasn't sure you'd see that, so I reposted.)

Well I've been twistless now most of the summer, and I'm missing some of those crazy antics she'd get into. So I'm going to try an call the LHS tomorrow and order a fuse.
Now don't get me wrong I love 3D but theres somthing about funflyers like the twist that makes flying so dog gone fun.

Now guys I think my wife is on to me, why today I was telling her how much I need this 99 dollar plane. And how this 99 dollar plane would help teach me to fly 3D so I wouldn't tear up my 800 dollar MX And that it was only 99 dollars.
BUT then she said No it is going to cost 99 dollars and another 200 for a motor, servos and batterys
I think she has caught on to me one to many times.

haha kerwin I can show you where to buy suitable gear for a lot less... maybe you'll be into it less than $200 + batteries.

I figured it out on the Buck Huck buying servos, motor,ESC and battery from HK came out to about $225. Not counting RX that I already have. Now I just need to pick up an odd job to pay for it.

I bought a 46" Vyper for $90; I spent $80 for motor, ESC, and servos; I'm stealing an RX from another plane; I already have 3S2200 batteries; I figure this one was very cost effective (much better than some of my other planes)...now if I could just find the time to put it together!

Well my slick is flight ready. I was going to maiden it this morning but my brother couldn't make it so I'm looking at putting decals on instead. I'll put pics up when I can.

Good luck. Good idea to have someone else go over things in case you missed something.

Don't forget the lateral balance. I have seen a lot of maiden takeoffs go bad from a lack of lateral balance.
