I wonder if my planes have made it out of texas yet. That state is too big to be allowed
Which means AK is twice as big as too big to be allowed

I ordered some of Wayne's buddy batteries from HK on July 21 and paid for EMS shipping. Price was good but batts still not here and $25 bucks for shipping. They are worse than Tower Hobbies in terms of getting things shipped. Not that I need them or anything, just sayin ...
hmmm... I guess I got lucky. Mine have been here for a couple days now. It was funny though because the customs claim form was marked "gift."

They have been taking several days to actually ship, then it has been sitting in sorting for a few days.

lol wayne. I spent 2 years in AK. It's a solid mass of mountainous craziness. Not much there to melt BTW Besides the fact that winter is SOOOO long most places up there are not any worse weather wise than say... P.A. or Ohio. Vermont is probably worse. I know North Dakoda and Wyoming have much harsher winters that most places where people actually LIVE in AK.

Oh... and they have McDonalds, two universities, but no interstate highways...

I loved it up there... if it would just stay light a few more hours in december...

do you guys "y" split your dual elevator servos or put each servo on a separate channel?

what about the ailerons and "y" splitting them, seeing people say don't use any differential for 3d planes?

With my radio, Y- harnesses are a thing of the past. Don't even need a reversing Y. It gives me more options in programming flaperons or spoilerons.

Separate channels for everything when I can David. My TX handles all the reversing. I have to use a Y on some other people's planes when they don't have enough channels. Reverser if their TX does not support two servo flaps or two servo elevators.

Differential is normally for the ailerons.

Brathanke Congrats to you and the mrs

David ditto to all of the above I only use Y's when I have to, not that I think its bad, I just don't like spending money on things my box can do, but Its never been a problem either way.

Depends on how many channels I have available on my RX. I usually split my ailerons across two channels so I have more control (e.g. flaperons, spoilerons, etc). On my Su-26 I have separate channels configured for my elevator as well.
