If you guys want a power supply, you may consider this one:

http://www.mpja.com/prodinfo.asp?number=16918+PS

This handles 3 amps and the plug is the one that works on the Accucel-6. We have been using these for a few years now. You will need a power cord. It is the same as a PC power cord and lots of people have some of these lying around.

Looks like you can use a power cord from an old PC.

(how's that for a redundant post)?

I made my own from an old computer power supply. It will run many chargers at once.
Here is a link for the conversion if interested

Easy conversion. I made one a while back for home use. Sure beats carrying a battery to the work bench all the time.

Being in IT for the last 10 years, I got those things all over the place. I gave a couple to Mars Rover, he built them up real nice. I still have a nice Power Supply from some buisness band radios i had in the early 90's that runs all 3 of my chargers.

Yea, the PC supply conversions work fine. I like the little 3 amp ones because they are easy to carry around. I have three or four 1 amp ones as well. I am a HAM operator plus my job involves electronics. I have two variable DC power supplies on my work bench so I don't have a problem there. I also have an old 20A linear supply that I run a couple of chargers on. Then I have one I built from a kit in the 70's as part of an electronics course.

Anyway, the Hipros are plug-n-play with the Accucel-6 chargers.

Yea, those Hipros are a nice price for 3amps. We build equipment that uses 12Vdc supplies for operation and battery charging. We have a neat little 1A job but it costs more than the Hipro. The Hipro is also a low noise supply.

This one is OK too but is about $16 delivered. It is 5A if you REALLY have to charge something with that much current. It also has a power cord. It uses a Mickey Mouse power cord (that is what I call it since it looks like Mikey). It is shown pictured but is not included.

3A handles most of the stuff I do and I don't push my Lipo batteries past 1C. I have other supplies that can handle more current or I can just use a field battery.

I bought one of those from HC when I ordered my first Accucel 6. It didnt work when it arrived. I had to pay another $8 to send it back to them and the replacement did work but it took so long to get it I had already made my own. Luckily someone at my field offered me what I had into it so I sold it. Good prices from HCity, and I do order alot of stuff from them, but its always a crap shoot whether you get a good one or a bad one.
This is my latest "secret" in hong kong that has fast shipping, great prices and pretty good customer service. shhhhhhhh

I order switches from them. The free shipping takes two or three weeks. The switches I get are great. $6 each with an LED and charge jack.

NEVER, EVER buy this switch! http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=4309 These are pure CRAP!
