IBEC is the only reg I <and others> need to run with HV servos. The rest is Lipo 7.4 Volt. If your RX cant handle HV it would need a reg and a separated power for the Servos.

My XPS RX and X-10 are good to 16 volts.

LiFe and A123 is the same thing. I run a 4c NiMh for ignition. I don't car for the various regulator options. Some of the new ignitions can take higher voltages. I plan to have all HV servos in the big foot and I have an HV receiver. I will run it on 2S lipo. I have not decided if I will do a redundant battery yet, maybe not. I will probably still use a 4C Nimh for the ignition with a remote kill switch. It does mean that I have to charge both batteries but that is the only issue for me. The additional battery on the big foot is trivial.

I do put a toroid on the throttle servo lead to choke potential noise on that lead.

I have four batteries in the Extra I don't care since I have lots of chargers.

I have never had a problem with SmartFly and no problems installing for me. I have an EQ6 in the Extra.

Full throttle all the time and keep chasing you.

Are you using the target select option?

My controls being set for 3D is makes a P51 fly like a canary on crack. With the role rate, its nearly un steerable.

Time to eat ham....

That is the first time I have ever done the pylon kill wayne type of flight, cant say that was my thing. The over controlled war bird was a bit annoying.

I am worried it will crash on maiden , like all maidens possable
But i research as much as posable info
Hopefully it will work out and i have fun building

It better fly longer than my research and build time

My horizontal stab is not in line with main wing so i got to correct that

As for glow slime it should be ok
I will fly lots los before fpv install

Os 10 la with 7x4 3 blade looks like big prop for small engine but very close to recommended prop

Eventually i form wing tips to be straight or cut them off

Ezstar2 with ailerons and rudder

I forget to mention 11 oz tank

Nice to see you post waldo
I think of you as i try to mount tank so gravity helps engine suck up fuel
