Really sorry to hear about your son and daughter in law...your whole family is in my prayers and you also for safe travel. Bring warm clothes...it is supposed to drop to subzero temps early next week.

O I agree Snowdog your the 2012 hoedown king.
Boy you were wind soaring her, and in a hover the wind was really pushing that plane.
Boy that was a close tail touch.
I did some re enforcing behind the canopy of the twist yesterday. I really need to mount the motor now. Problem is I'm going to have to build a set of rails for the motor as I cannot find a motor mount for old yeller.
Of course the rail mount is much stronger that the plastic motor mount after you do all your shaving to get the OS 61 FX to fit.
I'm really starting to miss ole yeller. I've since moved on to the electric, and the bigger gasoline 3D machines. Even still none of those planes have the power to weight ratio as the 40 size twist with that OS. I'm so glad I listened to many of you and did that set up rather than some other set up. She was and will be quite Insane.
