Tower our Home is all electric also, there is electric baseboard heat in everyroom with a thermostat for each room, we try not to use any of the electric as its pretty expensive, so there was a wood pellet stove in the basement when we bought the place which was the primary heating for the entire house and a propane stove in the family room which we kept at a low temp. but after 2 years of hauling wood pellets through the garage across the sidewalk through the house to the basement stairs and then back across the basement to where the stove was I had my share of that extensive labor. I went and bought a 2nd propane stove that was ventless and put that next to the pellet stove with a nice poush button thermostat LOL The pellet stove worked awesome but just too much labor for this old guy, besides having 3 pallets of pellets taking up 48 sq feet of my garage at the begining of every winter. Now we use the propane mostly and just flick on the electric heat in a room if we are going to be in it just to take the chill out and the propane keeps it maintained pretty well.

Well, 1" or so of snow this morning in Missouri but it was really wet as the temp was above freezing. We had breakfast and took off. The temp went up all the way home and 50 here. No driving problems except a small patch of fog in Oklahoma. Phone data was patching in Missouri so I could not keep up well. I take I-44 to OKC and I-35 South to Texas. Toll roads in Oklahoma - $8. It is quicker as the speed limit is 75 on I-44. Glad to be home. The temps were supposed to fall in Missouri and maybe another inch of snow at my BIL's house. I like snow also but not when I have a 9 hour drive. I was glad to get out before a lot of accumulation up there. The wet snow is a lot easier to manage but when it freezes - all bets are off. Happy New Year everybody. |

LOL My sighs were for some n00b posting spaz errors. I'm just an idiot.
As far as the snow, we did get an inch or so. So far anyway. It's still snowdrizzling right now but I'm sure it'll stop soon. It always does. Happy new year! -Eric |
