I love ole Yeller.
So the twist is still on hold. But I did pick up my muffler, a prop and some hinge material.
That was still 60 dollars.
So it'd be a little before I can get a video in the hover hoe down.
I/m looking forward to seeing some.
Any up an coming?
Wookster I've seen you hover and I think you should get a video. Do you need any help getting a video?
Yeah Snowy get that twist together.

BTW Snowy take care of my bike and great video? Momma an I are really missing the fall fun.
I've worked on the Green Machine some more. The fiberglass is really curing. My motor boxes sure do suffer abuse with some of my areobatics.
i could use some help, make ya a deal. You shoot vid for me, and I'll shoot it for you while you fly my bird.

I didn't have to deal with snow at all last year in town. I did see a bit on a few trips up to my in-laws cabin. This year promises to present plenty of snow challenges though since I am commuting to a town for school that typically gets a bunch that stays around most of the winter. I wish I could say I was looking forward to it...

Boy it's a quite day.
It's been cool here, 54, cloudy and just a bit rainy. Light and every so often.
I mounted the motor on the green machine, but I'm not happy with the mount. I had a little more prop to cowl clearance than I liked. so I left the washers beteewn the stand-offs and the fire wall. Normally this wouldn't bother me buy I cut the stand offs down some so the end next to the fire wall doesn't have a foot.
I'm still debating on flying her an just watching the motor mount set up. The only thing about the foot is it keeps from compressing the wood as much.

There was almost an hour of light left so I grabbed my shotgun and took to the hills. What a glorious evening....if walking amongst colors that could bring tears to your eyes were not enough...I was rewarded with a nice partridge for the pot as well. I am a happy man.
Was it in a pear tree?

A friend came over so I could help with installing a cowl on his Kadet Senior.

He ordered one of these planes from AK-Models. It is 5' x 5'. Really long fuse. Anyway, we started building it instead. It just needs the tank installed, engine, and throttle servo. The color scheme is different. He is coming back in the morning and we should be able to finish it off. We may even get the cowl mounted on the Kadet too.

Kerwin, with all the riding and fun I've been having.......the price might have to increase!

Wayne, you should know me better than that..........I don't shoot a bird unless it's airborn! (I did flush it from the base of a wild apple tree deep in a copse of alderwood though.) ......and yes I get it!

That's a nice plane your friend has.....let us know how it flies....will ya? Thanks.

I like AK Models, Alex is pretty easy to do business with. I'm thinking about ordering a trainer myself. He has a regular trainer for like $59. At least he did anyway.
That stick looking thing might be a good flyer!
