By the way, I think I crushed it at Pactiv! If I solve their problem here, then I solve the problem system wide! That means I could get all of the domestic business, not sure about the rest of the world though.
I wonder if my wife has a voo-doo charm that could help?!

Nice motorcycle ride snowman, thanks

I just got back from flying my 48 edge and the E-twist. 3 flights on the edge and 2 on the twist. My motor repair seems to be working out ok so I guess it's ON

I forgot how fast the twist was on this setup. I'd say it goes around 70 mph and it doesn't slow down much in a vertical climb

Hovering it is still really tough compared to my 3d planes. It really takes a lot of wrestling. Upright harrier is really poor but it does pretty well inverted so I guess I'll have to do inverted I'll have to work up to trying a tail touch either in harrier or hovering...

HOEDOWN!!

I forgot to mention...

I'm focusing on getting more aggressive with my KE with the little edge. I'm trying to do big KE circles and fast low passes. I am completely confident making low and slow passes but I'd like to get better at doing them faster.

In the meantime I got to see a guy ditch a 40% hangar-9 yak today. He is sponsored by horizon and DA. He was practicing a freestyle routine for the TAS when about halfway through in a long down-line the DA 170 died. They are writing the plane off as a total loss to the air-frame. You could tell what being sponsored is all about though because while that would be devastating for most of us they just sort of brushed it off since they get air-frames and engine parts at such a deep discount.

Yeah, I have a buddy who is sponsored by 3dhs, fox and Futaba. He also gets planes to review for FG. He still has to do a lot of work but in the short time I flew with him he destroyed one of the first 104" slicks and the great planes 50 cc yak 55 that he was reviewing. I actually filmed the latter one! They even gave him the new os55 to try on it. Sadly they sent a crappy APC prop for it! I don't think those folks actually fly planes at great planes!

I wouldn't bother buying a 3d plane from greatplanes. I feel like they are totally disconnected with it. I'm sure their regular sport or scale planes fly great but nobody who is serious about 3d buys their stuff... at least not that I know of.

We have a new GP Edge Gasser in the club... It doesnt have the control surfaces to 3D like EF or 3DHS, I think they are a tad heavier too

DOG.......you'll figure it out or you won't......it's just that simple.

There was almost an hour of light left so I grabbed my shotgun and took to the hills. What a glorious evening....if walking amongst colors that could bring tears to your eyes were not enough...I was rewarded with a nice partridge for the pot as well. I am a happy man.

You are such a tease.... I have no brain cells left.

Thought for the week
When some people volunteer to help, they could be just being nice, and dont really mean to actually do it.
