I have found a little bit of stuttering to be pretty normal... the real test for me is can I go from a real low rpm to WOT without it stuttering or squealing in the middle. When I say that I'm talking about a really fast transition. The power system in my little edge right now is a perfect example of one that won't transition from a low throttle setting to max without a squeal. I set my throttle trim up to have about 3000 rpms before I take off and that solves the problem. That is a timing issue for sure and I haven't cared to address it since I know the setup is just temporary.
How bad of a stutter are we talking about? |

Waldo, I'd feel sorry for ya, but you seem to be enjoying life......one thing though.....fast food sucks....how do you do it?! I hope you have a good time at the drag strip. Do those drag queens have lit cigarettes ("fire dragsters")that your hair might be on fire????? (I maybe from the sticks, but it doesn't bother me where you let it all hang out! I'm hip. )
One thing I'll say about the recipe though......you can't substitute brands...if it says Hunts....it needs to be Hunts etc.....I also usually don't add the cayenne pepper unless I have guests that like it numbingly hot! Without it my kids love it........so it's just hot enough. |

Snowman you got that right, I am living a great life I have a home a beatiful wife a great family and of course this thread and my hobbies, I hate my job but most do, yes I eat crappy fast food way too often but a man has to do what he does. My glass is always full which makes it dangerous walking up and down the stairs. I am completely greatful and lucky with no regrets and thank God for everything I have in this cut throat world. I'm just extra glad I have found everyone here. You all keep me laughing and smiling no matter what comes my way.
Kerwin have a safe and excellent trip |

Flip Flop air frame is nearly done. Glue the vertical and rudder on and then on to the controls.
I checked the aileron trim I wound up with on the pizza box. It was compensating for the battery location. I will move the battery back on the center line and it should be OK. I thought there were too many pieces of foam left in the box. I started checking and the sky cart and the fire fly are in there. I forgot I ordered the firefly. |

wow I put a replacement motor on my tech one yak because the first one was way too small. So I opted for this one http://www.valuehobby.com/power-syst...or-kv1200.html
Needless to say it is plenty powerful... around 400 watts with a 3s 2200 pack. My 800 mah packs that I actually fly with are charging so I tossed the 2200 on for a watt meter test. Crazy power. The 800's aren't going to supply nearly that much current though. I may have to prop down just to get a decent flight time and keep my batteries from puffing. |

Finished a few more steps on the Vyper...got the esc and batteries done; mounted the motor and esc; did my first test of the power system and got lucky...the prop spins in the right direction!!
Mounted the cowl and test fit everything...looks good so far...got some HD Velcro for the monster size batteries; need to do the lipos and the battery tray...then the servos in the wings and it should be ready...ailerons came pin hinged and gap sealed...nice touch! A few photos attached...cheers and good night. |

Welp... We loaded the Van and Camper last night and we are getting ready to leave out.... 5 hours sleep is more then enough for a 13 hour drive.
I have loaded the Wild Tiger Plank to fly. I have also taken along the prototype original Taco that was given to me last year my the guy that does the CNC for the Swany House so a mini plank is going to be in the making. Also going along for the ride is a slightly broke Bype proto that I will be repairing as well.. 10 days in the camper in Illinois, I hope to come home with 3 complete airframes. |
