Yes, those make great tanks for gassers because they are square and easy to strap down, but he just needs one that will take up as much volume inside the fuse as possible and still be able to get the wing on. I believe he has already run two tanks in series before.
I think just going to a supermarket and strolling through the beverage section will yield the best results. Just buy a few different beverages, enjoy them, then stick em in the plane and see what fits best!!
Of course, I may be oversimplifying the problem, I have a bad habit of that!

Well my daughter loved it, but I'm still on the fence! I just took a couple of sips because a small one has 773 calories! It's probably something you just have to try. My limited vocabulary would never be able to aptly describe the taste.

I have a damaged "F" switch and the little board it is soldered to is damaged, thought I could fix it but I am thinking I can only make it worst... Anyone got a bad 9C for parts?

If you go to the hobby services site there is a Futaba section. In there is a price list and, if I am not mistaken, switch replacement is listed. You'll know exactly what it will cost anyway. I have to send mine in for repair. I also have a switch that is kinda sticky but I never use it anyway, and I suspect that it would work great if it were ever properly cleaned.
