Orange TX and FrSky both working here.

Corona 72mhz synth have been good for me.

Battery thing again? There is NOTHING wrong with the NIMH packs. I put 6v packs on everything.

Notes:
  1. Any battery can develop a failure.
  2. Any electronic components that go through a crash may have permanent or intermittent failures.
  3. All receivers and almost all servos are compatible with 5 cell NIMH packs.

PB - your receiver may have an issue if it is not performing correctly with a 5 cell NIMH. Use appropriate caution. Using a 4.8V does not sound like a good solution to me.

A friend of mine has a 72Mhz 7C with receivers available I think.

Thanks Wayne. The receiver was a new Orange DMS2 that I bought from Nate and flew successfully quite a few times in the AW Freestyle. The battery was showing good voltage but I don't think it is performing under load. I don't have a load tester although I'm sure I could improvise something. I think I'll just wait for the new A123 that I ordered to come in. I believe it shipped this morning. Besides, it's probably gonna be windy here for a while anyhow, so no hurry.

By the way, do you ever get down this way to fly. If I ever get another T---t going we should get together and fly. Shane would have to come too. Maybe we could all meet in Waco somewhere? What do you think?

PB - I rarely go anywhere. I don't even go to the store. My car battery runs down in the garage from lack of use. A tank of gas in my truck lasts about three weeks.

Nice ucando Snowman, i got one too

Here is a different question

Anyone got a good way to put in a large tank other than the stock one but maybe 2X the stock size into a twist 40

I am looking at the idea of makeing the twist 40 a long flying machine

the stock tank is I think 11 oz, how would I put in a like 23 plus oz tank inside the twist 40 with a 46 ax running it.

fuel pumps are out of the idea as they complicate stuff and take up room, I am looking for a one tank `fit`` that is close to 30 oz
