Guys I can barely contain my excitement! I was dragging myself into work today and was totally surprised by a neat little package from Hong Kong! My tracking info just BARELY said it had been received in Hong Kong as of last night. I was kind of grumbling about it the last few days because I really wanted this motor for Friday. Wooot Woot I can barely believe my good fortune and I guess I can take all the negative vibes back

I dunno... that post kind of marks the beginning of the discussion though... You are welcome to check it out... I'm like years away from anything with a DLE 30 in it

I have a New DLE-20 for sale. Only test run on a stand. Spare plug too.

$235 shipped for you wonderful people.

I don't think I am going to be getting into that size after all.

Dang! I wish I had the money, I would take it in a heartbeat...let me know how this goes Wayne.
I would love to build a custom-sized TT "90" over the winter that would fit this engine....just a bit bigger than the TT60.

Let me know if you are interested in a Saito FA-115 in some sort of a trade.
Maybe I'll see if I can get enough for my Saito FA-115 to buy the DLE-20.

hmmm... FA-115 or DLE-20 such choices for my 80" Robin
I think the 20 might be too big... 115 might be small...but scale performance...
suggestions welcome...

The FA-115 would sound really sweet on that plane, I think.
Not sure how it would power an 80" WS plane...but like you said, it might be scale.

I'll keep that in mind. Only supposed to be 57 here in MT on Friday. Forecast says 99 deg in CA when I get there tomorrow.

O Wayne now your really tempting me A DLE 20.
I've been thinking about one for some time now.
As a matter of fact I'm thinking about a 3D plane for it any suggestions.
Of course I've still got to save my pennys unless I can find a wiring job or somthing

nice suggestions!

My new motor takes a collet adapter and in my enthusiasm for nice tight prop nuts I sheared the stinking bolt off. Excuse my language

Kerwin as Wayne posted, I am thinking about a Velox with a DLE 20 in sometime in the future . That plane comes in at around 7.5 pounds.

I am actually going to sell my Aeroworks Extra 300 to finance something else

O I know but the Velox is alittle rich for my blood.
I'm just shopping for now.
My little Edge is a nice flying plane but it's no MX
I played with it some more last night and I finally got the motor hot maybe alittle too hot. As this time I started to smell the windings and the motor was too hot too touch.
I don't think I hurt it any though.
I recal the ESC throttle stick, then while at WOT I dialed my throttle end point back to where the LED would go out on the ESC.
I also tried all 3 timing settings. Now Wayne and a few others say try a smaller prop, BUT some of the guys in the buck huck thread use the 12/6 prop on the Hacker with no problem.
I really should of done more research and bought the Omega 72. I'm not giving up on her yet.
I aslo got the Decals put on her while watching Dancing with the star the other night and yes Chaz is safe again. My wife qouted P T Barnum ( Never under estimate the bad taste of the american public)
Good Day
