If your receiver don't behave like this, on a voltmeter, without any filter, then is a case for replacement I think...

nice it did work with your receiver, maybe the firmware is different.

Didn't work (with and without RC filter) with my two D8R-II (12-2011) and one D8R-II Plus (05-2012) receivers.

He is running the XP fw on his D8R II
I ordered a new D8R-XP from aloft so as soon as it gets here ill try it out. I hope it works like his does cause that's what ive needed this whole time. I've built buffers, ordered boards, made an RC filter and nothing has worked, like that at all.

So we shall see.

Yes, i know about the XP firmware, thats what is running on my 3 receivers too.

The XP firmware posted here should be removed, it was a sample beta release, and I understand has been updated. I don't think that beta copy was ever supposed to be released to the public.

ah okay.
maybe we can get the new (actual) XP firmware, since the PPM and RSSI feature is just great, like on the D4FR-II.
So i don't need to sell my old D8R receivers and buy new ones, when a firmware update can solve this problem.

Is it possible to attach the vario sensor directly into the D4FR II?

Wayne, can you get them to shield and decouple it a bit better while they are redesigning it?

There is no reason why it should fluctuate so much. PLMS proved that with a bit of attention to signal quality it was stable.

I use it with my 8 channel without hub...

ER9x and Open9x support it

Yes, you must adapt somewhat the big servo type plug from FAS-100 to the tiny white plug of D4.
