Any idea when the 7 Ch recievers will be available? Will the 7 Ch have 2 antennas?

What 7ch receivers? Is for the first time I read about such thing...
What is wrong with the current 8ch receivers ?

New 7ch's will be a lightweight full range version to my understanding.

For use in Heli's and gliders where the chunky 8ch will not fit. Last ETA I got for them being ready would have been the end of April.

E-mail from chase. One of my customers was asking about a 7ch rx for there 450 helis. So I just forwarded the question on to Chase.

Can dig up the mail for you just need to find it in my swarms of e-mails. Was regurgitating what I knew from my rusty memory.

Edit : Just dug through my e-mail and now I remember it was a MSN chat I had with Chase so no record of it as my MSN does not keep a history unfortunately. I know it is a lightweight full range 7ch rx but I don't know more than that scheduled for a late April release if all goes to plan. Had more info in the chat but as I said rusty memory.

Supply of the V8 Futaba set.

Guy's, who has stocks of the V8 Futaba 8Ch + TX module set at the moment.
HiModel is my preferred supplier for good pricing, but they are out of stock. Looking for a deal similar to them, at about $63US shipped ?

I have one in stock. If you are desperate drop me a line I normally only ship to NZ customers so my site does not show shipping outside of NZ.

Seeing you are just across the Tasman I am sure we can make a plan.

Edit : dropped you a PM with my details.

We have both module sets in stock along with receivers, why would you buy from overseas when you get local warranty and c-tick?

One word - Price.

Edit: On second thought the question deserves a better response than that.
What I prefer is to buy the product cheaper or cheapest, then throw it in the bin if it goes faulty. I only generally go for a warranty when I'm spending hundreds of dollars on an item.
Just my preferred way and it's done me fine so far in my RC hobby.

Chase,
This may be something you can't help with, but do you know when Himodel will be receiving more V8FR receivers? I ordered the single one that came with my module a couple of weeks back and they went out of stock. I would like to buy a few more to swap out my fleet.
Thank you,
Curtis
P.S. I would opt to purchase in the states, but don't see any distribution here yet.

You can have HiModels send you an email notification when they are in stock again. I did that with the last one I ordered. Aero-Nuts also carry the FrSky stuff. I got my original module set from them.

Yeah, I have the notification on, but was wondering if I could get a heads up. I see that Aero-nuts does, but if I am buying from HK, I certainly don't want to pay 50% more.

It could actually be the servo brand your using. Some don't like the low signal voltages from these late model receivers. Try test with another brand of servo altogether and see if that helps. I too have had that issue with Corona BTW, just on some channel outputs.
