English instructions for Frsky

I ordered a Frsky Tr. module and 8 ch receiver from HI Models. It checks out very well on the bench. The instructions I received are written in Chinese. Can anyone help me with an English translation of the instructions ?

BTW, How long did it take to get it to you in OH? I just ordered one on Tuesday and am curious when it might be here.
Regards,

Nevermind lsf810, I seriously just went upstairs, because I heard someone outside. It was the postal worker with my Tx module. That is the fastest delivery I have ever had from China. Ordered about 9:00 am local time Monday and am about to fire it up right now. Not too shabby for my first order from Himodel.

Wow just found this thread. then I saw the review at http://www.rcmodelreviews.com/ seems like a very good module, and the price is super good. $22usd for a 4 channel receiver and 28 for a 8CH receiver plus telemetry and open spec. I am so buying one after I'm done typing this. I think I made a bad decision buying the Hitec A9, well is good just they proprietary stuff that angers me.

The Telemetry and the open spec stuff is not available yet. If that interests you, wait for a couple of months to get that module. The one I bought, I believe, only has one way comms and is not able to be field upgraded.
Correct me if I am wrong here.

Mike is in marketing so you know how marketing they just usually don't tell the truth,

Just searched and read some of the telemetry stuff. Is pretty cool you guys are designing it, but n o beau's comment kind of scared me good thing I couldn't find the CC right away, I'll investigate some.

I am confident the telemetry version of FrSky will reach market before Hitec system.
Just think that Tower shows it now as "Late May". We both know this could be summer in the most optimistic case.

i don't doubt that either. I bought it because I am not as interested in using telemetry as I am about getting a 2.4 system into the air this week. I really do think they will beat Hitec to the punch, and of course it will cost about a 1/3 of the price.

Hmm if nobody has tried it in a 9Z I might have to be the Guinea pig myself.

What has different 9Z? isn't the same module case / pinout, and the same PPM?

The problems with the Corona Futaba units were not just with the 9Z. My early production module didn't like certain settings for channel 5 in an FF7 (7UPS) and I read of the same sort of thing with an FF8 but on that it was channels 7 and 8. A recent replacement module doesn't show the same fault, so it must have been a software issue which Corona have since fixed.

Incidentally, I think I've got round the problem of the aerial sticking out of the back of the transmitter, I'm just waiting on a u.fl>rp-sma flylead to complete moving the aerial of my FrSky unit to the top of the case. As I don't intend using the FF8 on 35mhz again, I'm mounting the 2.4ghz aerial in place of the 35mhz one, though there's room to mount it anywhere on the top of the case.

9z is an odd duck.. Even in Futaba land it has it's own modules.. FT-TK vs FP-TP for the other Futaba module type TX's..

It does however use the same Futaba 2.4 modules as other Futaba radios.

I don't know the difference either but: I have a 9C and use the ham band. I had a channel 04, FP-TP-FM, module. I ordered a channel 00 module and they sent me a TP-TK-FM deck. I called to verify and question the TK module and they told me it would work fine and it does.
