It looks like Sunday will be a rain free day. After all this rain and (possible) soccer games, the only question is the field condition. I will follow the usual practice and post a go/no go notice on this sight before 7:00am Sunday.

In case any one is interested, I am thinking about the following tasks:

Fledgling: 3, 5, 7 minute

Sportsman: 3, 6, 9 minute

Expert: 3, 7, 11 minute

All with tape landings.

Bob,

Could be a bit wet Sunday? Will you post a go/no go note on Sunday am?

Walter maxed out his last round from a pop-off (1/4 height launch). It was a nice bit of flying.
Rich Spicer, & John Bagnatori were there with planes.
We would like to have you join us too, & fly in one of the contests Brian....

I will, when I finish putting the plane together. I need to learn to program a full house glider on my 9C.

Attention SBSS Members:

Thank you SO MUCH for hosting another great event. On behalf of all the pariticpants I must comment on how smoothly you all ran the contest. Seems to me the winch and retreiver worked flawlessly and I know that's due to constant dillegence on the contest organizers part.

More thanks to Greg and Aaron for timing for me, too.

I really enjoy the camaradarie and relaxed vibe at these monthly events. Thanks for making the drive from Pleasanton worthwhile.

Ciao.

- DCS, who flew Open Sportsman with his "recycled" Psyko

PS - Bob McGowan, thanks again for the airframe.

Contest was fun Brian. Yes I flew as I am signed up to go to SWC, needed a little flying time in before the SWC, dont want to end up on the last page! Hoping to sell/trade the Zenith there as well, if I fly really really bad it may hurt chance for a sale! May even go out and practice some spots as well....we gotta fund that XC ship man!!!
