I think we need a second color scheme for on line combat with these little beasts.
There will be a silver bomber scheme, and maybe even a blue nave scheme as well soon

Nicely done!

I shall immediately resume my harrassing queries to the RF people about getting the upgrade package out and orderable!

motorhead, your P-51B is SWEET How about a P-40B? It basically has the same profile as your P-51B!

Yep, I will be doing that one soon. I also need to do an ME-109 or similar. Right now I am working on an EzFly Float plane. So far the testing has gone great.

Hinges

I just finished repairing the hinges on my EZFly kit for the second time. My favorite tapes that work on other foam sheet just slide off of this stuff! What are you'all's secrets to doing tape hinges on this stuff?

justj do you have access to an iron?Either a regular household one or a monocote one which is a little easier. If you run it over the tape it will really activate the adhesive.

Ironing

I ironed the tape down every time...... I've got 2 year old hinges on FFF and $treeFB that is still down solid. What's so different about this EPP stuff used in the kits?

Prime the epp with Welders glue...just a very thin coat where the tape will go; let it dry fro 5 minutes or so and then apply the tape. The hinge tape won't come loose...ever. Or just do the Welders glue hinge.

EZ Fly Trainer flight report

Purchased an EZ Fly trainer for my then 4 year old Grandson (which was almost 3 years ago) and after a short time he soloed it. Except for a few attempts in windy conditions last Spring, he had not flown it since then until last week when I took him camping in the dunes for 4 days. I had 20+ battery packs and I recharged them all over 3 times! His first flight I was a little cautious and hovered over him while he flew like he had never stopped. He launches the plane himself and flies it really well, making good decisions when he gets in trouble. All he wanted to do was fly! He is not the first young person I taught to fly at an early age (both my sons, his dad and uncle) soloed by the time they were 7, but it was much more difficult with the balsa sailplane and nitro powered trainers in those days. The EZ fly is the best trainer I have ever used to teach.

His plane is getting a pretty heavy from the glue used in repairs, so I thought I would get him another one, but now see there is a P-51 version which I will order.

Thanks for the great design!
