Nice. The blended cockpit/fuse thing is pretty neat. And congrats on 123 posts.

Hey Frank,

Thanks a lot mate. I've used this service for some custom original little gifts for people I love (nothing to do with airplanes). Quite pricey IMHO though.

As a cheaper alternative what about this method for making a full composite model I posted a lot earlier in the chimera thread? This simply depicts the construction of the male plug. The rest (molds-parts) is well known.

Lots of aircraft modeling projects

Hi everybody,

I'm done quite few 3D aircraft projects, which are all on my site at http://www.mikejamesmedia.com (There's a preview movie on the home page.)

As a current (June 2012) example, here's the latest one, Boeing's new 747-8 "Intercontinental", still in progress. Hope you enjoy some of these...

Tunnel Hull

I scratch built a 3ft nitro powered Tunnel boat many years ago. Does anyone know what type of program I could use to blow up the model to 11ft and see a
3D image. I'm thinking of building a 11ft version and would like to be able to see what it looks like when the size is expanded.
