Love the new AJ scheme. You can still tell that it's AJ, but somehow different.

Got to see one of these up close tonight at our club meeting. This plane is extremely impressive, cut back leading edges, carbon fiber laminated inner structure, and super looking lines.

Several of us are looking to fly Sunday and were hope Drew will make it out with his red schemed Osiris. Should be fun!!

Tim,

Good seeing you at the meeting, we will see you tomorrow at the indoor. I'm sure I'll make it out Sunday if everyone else is going to make it out.

Could this plane be flown on a 385-390 kv motor or is that too low?

I have flown this on a 380 KV motor on 6s and 5s. On 5s the motors tended not to get any more power than 1300 watts. It ended up being 70 amps on an 18x12 prop. It was very nice speed and great downline braking.

So at 6s that should be around 60 amps.
Andrew what size prop did you run?
What is the AUW?

AUW on 6s was right at 7 pounds with a 6s5000 pack. You could go to a much smaller pack if you wanted to.

On that setup I'd go with a 17x10.

Absolutely. I imagine flying with less throttle management with a plane like this than my aerobatic models but I would think I could fly 10 minute flights on 5000 mah. That's too long for me but not enough for 2 flights. Something between a 3200-4000 mah would probably be a good compromise. (possibly a future home for the gear from my Fliton Extra Freestyle)

Exactly, We did this for all the people that the 6s5000's in all 70" planes. In pattern we are limited to 10s which most people have made up of 2 5s packs. Thats why I fly it on
5s. We have even flown it on 4s 6000.
