Well the maiden is behind me and what a ride! This has to be the coolest RC anything I have ever flown! We have some AWESOME footage being edited as I type (professional quality HD!) It was much different than I expected...take off was a little scary (next time WOT for take off) rolled a bit to the left and touched the wing tip...no damage and once in the air the roll trim was about 5-7 clicks off which made the first couple of seconds in the air even more interesting! Got her all trimmed up and then really started to have some fun! The SR has a presences in the air that really nothing else even comes close too! Has a wicked look...especially when you get up in a high bank turn! Just like I have read...the SR likes speed...and gets a bit uneasy if you slow down too much. Pulled a few high speed level runs (no real dives) and max'd speed on the maiden at 74 MPH..not bad and I was only running 20C packs...I think with a 25-30C we should gain another 10 MPH or so. Anyhow now it was time to start setting up to land! This is where it got a bit scary...she carries speed...really doesn't like to slow down...first pass...way to fast! Second attempt...perfect touch down but too much speed...almost ended up in the bushes so I took her up for one more pass. Third and final...bleed off some speed and approached much lower this time...gear down...1/4-1/2 throttle...gentle flair and mains touch...cut throttle and main touch down...next about 100-150' roll-out...and WOW did she look great doing so! This model while not difficult to fly does take and experienced pilot IMO to have success! Redlite mods with the rudders and "whale tail" really makes a difference! This SR really has a responses feel to her...really nothing more to say than WOW!! Wait till you guys see the video...I can't wait myself!

Loved the video. It was worth the wait. Were are you flying at? Looks like somewhere in Roseville? I am in Sacto as well.
