You dont want to know. But a new xacto blade and a strait metal ruler makes quick work. The hardest part was taking up the unused squares. The graphics package is going on top so I wanted checkers on the bottom to match those. Mike even hooked me up with a tiger head to go along with it since Clemson's mascot is the tiger. Thats why I went with orange and black.

Put it this way, a small strip on my old Skua at the wingtip took half an hour for 10 checkers.

For those of us who don;t have the time or the inclination to cut up Checkers, Monokote has a 4" wide X 36" strip of self adhesive 1" black and white checkers.

Using a ruler and a new xacto blade makes creating the checkers easy though. And its more satisfying to have done it myself. I probably have close to 10 hours of work total on it so far. But all I have in college is time so its easy to take my time and get it right the first time.

+1. It's probably the most rewarding experience to see something of your imagination come to life, done exactly how you wanted it to look.

Nothing more satisfactory than seeing your work flying and impressing people

The Juka will be the "Crazyest" 3D machine of all of them. The Extra 300 and Yak will do amazing 3D too but are going to be a little more precise than the Juka. It is all what you want it for. All of them are going to 3D very well.

Not the best video, as it is so zoomed out - wife shot it with my little point and shoot camera.. will have to get a real video camera sometime. I'm flying the 38" DWFoamies that Flop gave me - I put an infinite motor and some cheap servos on it, hobbywing speedo - flies great! Earlier in the weekend I broke it completely in two pieces flying on the beach.

My 2 year old nephew and bro-in-law were practicing football/tackle practice, lol! You'll see them around 2:15 or so - wife is easily distracted.

And some pictures!

Flew my 40" Juka yesterday and man.. what to say. Probably the easiest airplane to hover I've EVER flown (foamie to 40% IMAC airplanes). High-Alpha flight is awesome.. still playing with balance on it as I like to fly with a little down elevator when inverted as opposed to hands off upright/inverted.

I clearly need more batteries.. lol. 3 packs isn't enough.
