I was flying my 40" Extra today (Old version that was not produced) in about 5-8 mhp of wind doing some 3Ding, rollers and KE's in the weeds! I had my tail in the weeds over half the flight It has the drag holes but I taped all of them exept the ruder. - Mistake - I got one of the rudder holes cought in a scrub oak bush... Hit the ground and the motor mount busted and the prop slashed my whole nose off No good... It was back and flying in 20 minuets though.

My bank account, being a college student, can only take so much of a beating. Thats why I started an R/C Club to get the university to pay for it

All I have to do now is come up with a color scheme...

Hey ice that a awesome weight for that plane, worked on that airplane for mike for two months. Takes very little rudder floats well, use a light batt. Like a 800-1000 mhr 25c 3 oz or under

You could drop the wheels, but my very first thought when I saw your pictures is...Damn that is gonna be a floater and fly great!

Two wings at that weight! AWESOME.
Looking forward to your maiden flight reports.
