watching you up close was a real thrill at the show Santi. I have the video of you and the T guy flying formation. It's my favorite video of all 3 days at the show. It starts with my son flying a scratch built F-22 park jet then you and your friend doing that formation 3D flying . And guys under Electric Flight Events I have a whole thread of all 3 days of the AMA expo
My favorite

And I watched it in stop action to see who was at fault during the mid air . Definately HIS FAULT.. You guys are flying knife edge by us then in the turn he yaws up into a hover and you continue K E into the side of his fuse . Luckily at that speed there was no damage. Here's the stop action pics in sequence.

In the interests of all three, that's why I don't like bracing. Takes too long and is too hard to repair adequately, lol

You can fly a 38" Yak-54 with no bracing aside from the CF tube in the wing (though putting something on the elevator to keep it from tearing is an absolutely required item--ask me how I know ). Nice and light and surprisingly capable

Bracing isn't as hard as it looks,I usually spend more time making sure the angle on the motor is right than on bracing.its just learning were to place it,I've never had any problems with the bracing on crashes, it's usually the foam that doesn't have any carbon fiber that brakes,I only do it on 3mm foam planes, bigger stuff doesn't need it

Snapped a shot of the orange one to remember it. Nice work, it was a pleasure to meet/talk with ya the little time we had in the booth, was a busy day.

Nonsense. The key to bracing like that is a flat table, and patience.

crashed the 48 Yak yesterday. Fix and repaired in 5 mins

Then proceeded to crash my 34 Raven and 40 Juka after work today. Fix and repaired both in about 20 mins.

Love Foam!

I flew my milled Yak yesterday and today and the more I do the more I marvel at how floaty and slow it flys. I'll get a video tomorrow.

I would like to sign up for the "I'm a tool award" otherwise known as IATA. Over flew the end time on my battery as I was committed to catch it. Battery died about 4-feet off the deck and I went in tail first. Swapped the servo in 3 minutes and back in action. For today, you may call me IATA.
