ssgtakeo, that formation flying video is impressive. i am sure its much harder to keep the habu in view than the video makes it look.
Thanks! It is tough! Even when we practice on the simulator. We've had a lot of collisions and misques.

Nice review, Kev!

XPS will be offering a retract kit for the Habu that works with E-flite electric retracts, and our own electric retracts (complete with trailing link struts). The simple kit is all of the laser cut parts, including a template for cutting the foam to the correct shape for the wheel wells and retract mounting plate. We even have plastic wheel wells that will be available. The nose gear is compact and allows you to have a nose gear door if you choose. The advanced kit comes with everything. More information will be available shortly. Great flying plane!

Hello, the HABU is a must have edf jet.
It is not cheap but the electronics components are top quality.
The power set up is at top stands.
The quality of the foam is excellent.
Great design and colors.
Fast assembly
Excellent fligh qualities.
And very easy to improve power .
It is a real beauty !!!
Only one regret .....I wish stock with retract landing gears !

Agreed but the retracts would add another $75 to $100 to the already premium price of the plane.

The install took a couple hours. No we didn't have to ruin the foam to do it, and yes they are the new e-flite electric retracts. The gear up really cleans up the look and definitely gives a speed advantage over the gear-down config (we found this out during formation fly).

I said $75 because the bundled price is always less than individual components.
