Old radio question

Ok here it goes....Ive got an old 4 ch. AM futaba conquest. I would like to use a mini Hitec 555 reciver for it, but I can only find a Hitec fm reciver. I need a cystal at 72.590. Can this be done? If I can spend 70 bucks on a reciver I save a ton of money...any advise?

For your $70 you can buy a brand new Futaba R114 4-channel AM receiver. Weight is 0.95 oz.

The 555 is an FM receiver - it won't work with your transmitter. Unfortunately, there are few after market AM Rx's these days. The Futaba R114 listed above is your best bet.
