I stoped by Kyosho today, and noticed they had a J-3 Cub in the same size as well. One could be a windy day cub, and the other could be a calm day cub....lol Kyosho did not have the warbirds in stock yet.

Tim,
Kyosho has a store in CA? Lucky they don't have them here else I'd be more broke

Did they carry the P-40 if their color scheme instead of the E-Flite scheme?

Does anyone know yet if they'll be doing a 'PIP' version of the spit and 109? I'd be very interested if they did as like to use my own Tx. But I'm still hoping Eflight will announce the Spit too. They will be the same, but the Eflight one will be cheaper

Stuart,
DRAMJET said the Tokyo shop had PNP and RTF. But it is under the Kyosho name though. I'm crossing my fingers for HH announcement(s) at Weak Signal (April 9) and/or SEFF (April 29). Dave E. keeps saying it will be a busy year...

Got to maiden my P40 today in a park smaller than I normal fly in.

Needed a bit more nose up trim but flew nice, very controllable in a smaller space at lower power and gets small quick when fast!

Got out of the 3 channel techniques that I developed flying the Kyosho Edge as I progressed to 4 Ch able to keep it up nice with a few saves. I did notice my "Rudder Thumb" still working hard!

I started out flying aileron right off the bat. I got an elevator and rudder only plane last year but plugged rudder into aileron as I just couldn't get used to not using aileron stick.

Yeah, have to think when I go back and have a float with the Citabria or Eagle, then think again on the 4 ch rigs and think again on the 3ch aileron setup of the Edge and Kittyhawk.

Keeps one on their toes!

DRAMJET,
$175...yikes!!! I can see $30 or so off for no TX/RX. I can see $20 off for not having 3 servos. I can see $20 off for no ESC. I can see $10 off for no lipo. That'll take it down to just ARF (airframe+motor) like the P-40.

So, I hope their ARFs will come in around $100...else, I'm out. While I love warbirds in this 25 inch span size...$100 can get you some pretty good planes nowadays.
