Dude, after finding that, I found this! Coming to the US Feb. 2010 (or at least so far). MSRP is $229.99.

Keep in mind for example Kyosho America has a list price of $269 for the P-40 50E and Scott at Airland was selling them for $175.

Now if we only still has Scott to take good care of us.

Luna, I agree, 229 is not gonna work, but I think Tommy's right in that we will very likely see a significant discount on the street price. Hopefully.... 'CAUSE I WANT ONE OF EACH!

Yeah I'm sure they will sell for a lot less, am sick and tired of companies doing this RRP thing when they have no intension of ever selling them at that price, it's kind of like false advertising.

Do agree they are cute though; hope they sell them without servos, esc and radio, like horizon. Having ideas of popping in one of my cox td 020s

I was speaking to the Kyosho UK rep on Friday. He told me they'll only be RTF to start with then if they sell well they'll do a ARTF version. So here's hoping that eflite decide to release the spit under there own banner and ARTF.

I'm very sad of Airland's closing. I was able to pre-order the P-40 for $91 and even applied a 10% + free shipping deal on top of that so $82 to my door!!!

I PM Scott about whether or no he spoke to his E-Flite rep a couple of weeks back and he did get any works from them. I'll hold out for the ARF package as opposed to RTF. Still got lots of model memory slots in my DX7 I might even get multiple of the 109s so I can repaint them to different camo schemes.

Just got a P40 from RC Champ in Akihabara in Tokyo. Kyosho list price Y15750 but RC Champ and Super RC have Y11000 as list price. Register rang it up at Y9800. Seems like Kyosho's list price is never seen at retail, NICE!

Waiting on Zippy 500 mAh batteries from HK which will fit the slim battery space. Maiden will have to wait. AR6110e fits nice as would the AR6100e. Ample servo leads with extension lead supplied with the elevator servo but not needed.

Looking at the Spitfire/Me109 servo setup for elevator and rudder shouldn't be too hard to fit an extra for the rudder on the P40. The Kyosho colour scheme's tan looks a bit light compared to the Eflite camo but wont take long to change.

Addict, Kyosho site in english,

http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/index.html

but doesn't seem to be as up to date as the Japanese site.

Super RC translates well with google translate

http://www.super-rc.co.jp/index_pc.html

and RC Champ can be a bit hit and miss.

Certainly look at the pictures at all sites (better than the articles although some translations are a laugh!). Also do a lot of link looking to see where it leads.

The english link above to Kyosho only shows the P40 and Cub as Airium products but on the Japanese site shows the Spits and 109s both with and without tx/rxs.
