I don't know if this fits in your very impressive list, but it is information about R/C helis, and completely non-commercial, so I guess it doesn't hurt to mention the site: www.helisoftware.com.
It's a brand new site, and some people seem to like the freeware application called "HeliPort". It's a digital toolkit for R/C helis, written to work with Windows. And there is another version for Windows Mobile. It took me a lot of effort to make it, and hope that some of our fellow heli flyers might find some use for it.
Keep up the good work, I'm gonna be very busy for a while looking through your great list.

Hi Jim,

If I could be of any help, I would sure consider that. You can simply drop me a mail at info@helisoftware.com.
I have to admit that I don't know much about quadcopters and so, but always found them very intresting. I'm an electronics hobbyist as well for a very long time, you see. And there are plans to extend the actual audio tachometer to multibladed heads as well next winter, so that fits the bill, I guess.
