My current boats

My IOM and Victoria.

Victoria painted using auto, 2 part acrylic enamel w/hardener, then wet sand and flames airbrushed (with some stencil use) on top, then a two part clear coat.

Mermaid was using Autoair colors, http://www.autoaircolors.com/, with masks and airbrush. Then two part clear top coat to seal and shine. It can be wet sanded and buffed out to a high gloss.

All of my boats are custom painted, mainly because I've built all mine from parts!

Here's my latest one (still working on it): https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/atta...mentid=2893582

While not "original" - the smaller boats look as impressive as the real ones.

These happen to be 2 Meter multihulls - photos taken in Europe.

Tbarjohn - I like the paint scheme for the Soling #535. I have a soling 1m that I painted with metallic British Racing Green for the hull, Gold striping along the deck joint and white keel.

Look like an old Bingo and an EC12? Nice paint. What paint was used? I really like the color.
