That is such a shame, but don't lose hope. The model looks fantastic and you've done an excellent job so far.

Thanks for the kind words, and it will fly again! This is the 7th RC Ekranoplan i've build sofar and it is by far the best one . Till now everything has worked, I just had some bad luck with the propulsion unit.

Will update when it sees water again

Best regards,

sure, let's se what i can find

Hmm I still miss some models, I also tried a tandem Wig and a hovercraft with wings.

Ahwell, most of the models you see were a partial succes. I mostly played around with lippisch wings, allthough I can only find that I built two actuall RC models of it I guess the most models I actually built were like this:

And yes, that is me in my younger years

Damn Gabriel,

I have 1547 images and documents of ekranoplans on my harddisk and you actually managed to have completely new pictures haha

Really cool, thanks!

Keep up the good work on you're rc ekranoplan, my flat wingprofiled ekranoplans still tended to flip but most of the times, it's not so much sience, more just trial and error

Experimenting is the best part of rc modeling

Very unique design! I saw a video of its flight, but I can't find it now. Could you post a link to the video?

This one looks very impressive:

Is it a real vehicle or just a rendering ? In any case, do you have more info on it (like name, manufacturer, links, etc.) ?

Also, do you have more info on this one (which looks like it can fly like a plane):

Also this one looks interesting (any more info ?):

I looked for them, and indeed he has very nice designs, some of which have been put in production.

That one looks to be a huge passenger plane (1000 passengers) designed to compete with Boeing 747 and not an Ekranoplan.
