Composite design F 3 P

Hello, for a long time wanted will share the manufacturing techniques ф 3 р models.
I use corbon and balsa, covering lavsan.
This model weighs 105 gramme, at the accumulator 250 ма.

It will be interesting to see how it compares with a depron model at the same weight? Your model might be stronger and more rigid which should make it more accurate, but the depron models can be made with more delicate curves to improve the initial design if necessary.

I often should change design of this model as I am constantly dissatisfied with its flight. The main thing for me - high rigidity and stability to blows, absence of ageing. I not so the good pilot and model crash happen.
For Donatаs:
I hope, soon will meet at competitions and to see your models, for me it will be the big lesson.

This is an amazing plane that you have designed! After reading your posts on the Breeze thread I found this thread, and the video you posted. The piloting in the video was amazing, and I can't believe how small of a space you were flying in. You are very modest! The plane looks like it flys great, and I imagine that it would handle a crash much better than depron. It's like you've taken the I.F.O. (indoor flying object) construction methods and made a plane that looks better and flys better!

I would love to see how you built the plane. I've never done a plane like this, so things like how you join the carbon rods (thread and CA?), hinges, covering, and how you attach the servos and motor would be great to see.

Congratulations on the great job!

Cheers,
Greg

Thank you for the excellent photos. I think that I am going to have to give this type of building a try after I smash up my Breeze!

I'd love to see the video, but I was unable to find it. Would you mind posting a link to the video or mentioning the post number containing the video.

Thanks,

Ray

I was thinking that plastic food wrap might work for covering. That's what is used on Bill lowe's Ghost Bipe. Apparently it can be glued on with 3M spray conact cement, then even shrunk a little if you're really careful with the heat gun.

lantsov, I watched second video. if you switched to 2.4ghz you would vastley increase your flying space. antenna uses a good meter. or just leave antenna down. nice work and flying, bravo
