Nice! That plane floats along nicely in ground effect.

Used a Stryker fuse how, exactly? Do you mean just adding canards, or ...?

Heres just mock up. I would extend the nose with a tube and mount the canard to it.

Today is a good day to fly.

I've read many Stryker threads and haven't seen any canards.
Winglets, yes. Canards, no.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I've got several fuses that I'm messing with now.
One will go ultralight. One will go EDF.

I've seen a few canard threads but they all seem to die off. But go for it! Let's see one actually work out.

8g HS-55 servos

I'm getting ready to build another Stryker, <12 oz. this time.

Anyone use Hitec HS-55 8g servos on this bird?

If you mean the servo arms, I think I'm using the stock with my HXT900's. They are barely long enough to peek out the top of the wing.

The Emax servos come with HUGE servo arms, so it's not a problem.

Thanks for the reply
yeah mine seem to be just about peeking out as well.... so I guessing that valley gives enough room for the push rod to travel?

Finally!

Finally finished mine. AUW is 14.6 oz. with Suppo 2208-14 and 3S 1300. Hope to maiden on Monday. HD8040 prop barely fits between the fins but draws right for this motor, according to the specs. The cover is only temporary until I can come up with something nicer

+1 on that! Its my all-round goto plane. Just toss in the car and always ready to fly. Such a fun plane.
