Hey Monkey,
I never owned a red britPOP! But I can understand the confusion with me leasing personal number 42 an all. Strange coincidence that you ask; Iíve been trying to order one from Robot, but no response to my Email (The Tiger probably out sailing somewhere). . . . . Good on you for getting a guest spot at the Worlds. See you in France. JWB

I don't know why but I thought you had one of the original BritPops. Old age I guess.
I'm sure they will respond. As you say he could be out playing, Easter and all.
Yes will be great to catch up with all you "Seppo's" again. Haven't seen Michel before at any of the regattas so one new face for you guys.

See you in 22-23 days!

PS That pic shows why PVR beat me in San Francisco that time. Lana put that chain on board the Bad Monkey for the last race!

FROM THE MIND OF A MADMAN

just saw this on Facebook

Mirage Radio Yachts is proud to announce the release of it's new IOM Nitro.
There have been several of this design already produced by Mirage Radio Yachts, but they are now being released as a culmination of a lot of effort and collaborative work between Mirage Radio Yachts and ARS Composites which has resulted in this new boat.
Having received the first boat and made it ready for dispatch, I am proud of the finished product.
The build quality is as good as anything I have seen.
Some of the changes made in the production boat are mainly to do with the perceived advantages of having a "pot" for the battery and receiver. This has resulted in moving the winch in front of the mast.
The boat will be available in 8 colours..
Two of these boats will be sailed in the upcoming Worlds. One by Martin Roberts (UK) and the other by Gary Boell (USA).
There will be an updated website with full details of the Nitro IOM
due to be released soon.
Enquiries can be made through the existing website or by email at miragej@bigpond.com

Mine is ordered in RAL5015 color. ARS Composites has a relatively quick turnaroud time too.
