Anyone got any suggestions for tuning my B rig? Sailed yesterday in low B rig conditions and really had a challenge trying to figure out how best to tune my B rig that goes on my pikanto.

Ryan,

Per the master of the Pikanto, Mr. Bantock, go to his trim notes and look under No. 2 tuning numbers.

This will certainly get you on track.

I see some IOMs like Ian Vickers V8 have there mast going through the deck and a hollow to allow space for the boom vang. How does the water drain out?
Cheers.

It doesn't you need to drain the mast box after each race, but generally if the winds up and water is getting in the mast box there is nothing wrong with a little added weight and if its light I generally don't get any in the box.

Anyway, his boat speed was very good. There were many very fast sailors and fast boats. Was the V-8's boat speed dominant? i don't know. My guess is it was at, least, slightly better than the others and maybe more so. His comebacks were awesome.

Hos anybody considered that it is ever so often the nut on the tiller, not the tiller nut which counts!

Well what i'm saying is 8th looks too far out on points to reach the top,but anybody could emerge out of the top seven.Fast women and slow racehorses are the worst thing for ya mate.
