Thanks for all the kind posts in regards to the ARYA Australian IOM Nationals. A very large amount of volunteers worked extremely hard (as we all do with organising events), and made the entire Nationals a great success. As well as the IOM Class, we also hosted the A Class, Marblehead, and Ten Rater classes. And, just to finish it off, we also hosted out first DF95 State Championship, which was a two day event (15 consecutive sailing days across five classes).

The first I was involved in - as an organising assistant - and as competitor across the IOM and Marblehead classes, and so many lessons learned with both organising another one one day and in the sailing experiences. Extremely hard work, but very enjoyable.

As far as the IOM's are concerned, I wonder how many have had 2nd, 3rd and 4th tied and needing countback to determine finishing positions. It was an awesome experience seeing the top four consistently sail at a "foreign" location to them so consistently well. Final results are here; https://mysailingresults.com/results...sp?eventid=200

Click either of those links and the 2018 calendars are there.
And Yes this Saturday is IOM's in Richmond . If you have RG65's you might want to stay over for sundays races.
