My place has been 43 days with no rain, and none in the forecast. The tiny little bluebonnets are still looking hopeful, so maybe it will rain again sometime. December is ordinarily a low rain month in the best of times.

The cure for man created warming is removal of man. Anything outside of that is a waste of time and money. So you have to decide what is more important to you, mankind's existence, or the earth's temperature. Let us know.

I will believe that man has a real causable effect on Global warming, right after someone explains why the Earth had Global warming cycles long before man showed up.

It's been explained, over and over. Why don't you get it?

Greenhouse gas
Quote:
Greenhouse gases greatly affect the temperature of the Earth; without them, Earth's surface would average about 33°C (59°F) colder than the present average of 14 °C (57 °F). Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the burning of fossil fuels has contributed to a 40% increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
Global warming
Quote:
The climate system can respond to changes in external forcings. External forcings can "push" the climate in the direction of warming or cooling. Examples of external forcings include changes in atmospheric composition (e.g., increased concentrations of greenhouse gases), solar luminosity, volcanic eruptions, and variations in Earth's orbit around the Sun. Attribution of recent climate change focuses on the first three types of forcing. Orbital cycles vary slowly over tens of thousands of years and at present are in an overall cooling trend which would be expected to lead towards an ice age, but the 20th century instrumental temperature record shows a sudden rise in global temperatures.

Um, no. Our impact on global temperatures was minimal before we started burning fossil fuels. The 'cure' is to replace them with sustainable technologies.

Yes, better technology does take time and money to implement, but it's not a 'waste'. Which would you rather do - spend a little time and money maintaining a healthy environment, or be a lazy skinflint and die? Let us know.
