Cheap $25 7 ounce outrunner (800 kv)
60 amp esc
450 watts
3s lipo (3000 mah)
16X8 prop

Most of the info on E-Sailaire conversions is several years old. Old=HEAVY!!!

Heavy as in 10 or 11 lbs.

The sailaire weighs as little as 5 lbs as a glider with lead in the nose. It doesn't need to weigh any more than that as an electric without the lead.....well, maybe 5.5 lbs.

drop this guy a note...

there is a rcgroups fellows name of ' carrinsr ' and he has made quite a few posts about the sailaires and e-conversion. I would imagine if you sent him a note or you look up his posts via 'search' you would get your info.
