surflyer, Tumbletot was a free plan in AMI, Feb 2008. Back issues are available from www.aviationmodeller.com and are priced at 5.00 (UK) each. I presume that this is plus postage. I am not sure what that would cost for South Africa. It looks to me to be a really cute modern "vintage" design. If you build one please post the details, I would be interested to see your set up.
All the best....Chris ..UK.

Its very small about 22.5" IIRC and IMO not very vintage looking..but it has charm.

Tumbletot

Please build one,Surflyer.Very easy to both build and fly.Mine has a .25cc replica of the old .5 Elfin(tank underslung) diesel ,5x3 prop.Trad coloured tissue in bright colours to aid recovery.Free flight of course.Only accident so far was when it collided with the cardboard cutout(fullsize)Nieuport at Old Warden! In case you dont know,Old Warden is the mecca for senior citizens who meet a few times a year to worship at the shrine of The Shuttleworth Collection of antique aeroplanes and fly all the old model designs.
If you are unable to locate a plan by your own efforts, may be able to help.

Hi, what about someone scanning the plan and post it here for all Vic Smeed's admirers?

Hi Eduardo,
I don't hav ethis one, so if you find a copy, I'd like one too.
I think the original used a 0.25 Schlosser, anything powrered by one of these superb little diesels cannot fail to be fun.

Tumble Tot vintage plans

I know, I know, this is an OLD thread - but the latest Flying Models magazine showed a picture of the Tumble Tot - has anyone in the United States got a plan that I can buy, or can I get a copy? Email me directly - srfikes@gmail.com...
Thanks,
