If you look at the bottom of the Xeno, you can see two "pockets" and a finger hole:

I launch my Xeno with motor off.

Austin ..... I run my Superfly with one metre (say 40 inches) tapes ...... I did run equally well with 2 or even 3 metres of 12mm wide tapes but the shorter tapes give me all I need for orientation etc .....

I have to confess I don't fly Combat ...... however, thinking further about it I do suspect the Safety tape will not break and thus is highly likely to bring down both planes ....

Sounds like some sort of Paper streamer would be better .....

A titanium shaft doesn't come cheap:

http://www.titan-concept.eu/catalog/...hp?cPath=50_39

€12.- for a 200mm rod (plus p&p)

After spending 130 Euros for the standard motor kit 12 Euros look cheap enough
Thanks for the link i will get me one as i don't want to loose the prop in the air.
I imagine that a 10 Inch prop that barely fits between the rudder fins will do a lot of damage on the elapor if it gets loose.

In case of the collet losing grip on the shaft, I would expect the prop to lose rpm, fold, and fall off the end of the plane.

If you move the motor to the top end of the xeno, how the COG will be shifted?

Depends on the weight and the position.

I think this will be way too heavy.
Aluminium or titanium i think will be acceptably light.
Btw Jurgen i was amazed from the solution given for the blade folding mechanism.
The trick with the rubber is very good indeed and i was wondering if you know any type of spinner that has a blade folding mechanism as standard.
After seeing what a simple rubber band can do i know think that all folding prop spinners should have this as an option or standard.
In any case i will convert all mine (where applicable of course) by fitting springs.

let say the motor from your power kit, and place it next to spinner.
Thanks

Apart from the fact, that the 28mm outer diameter outrunner would not fit into the narrow end of the drive pod, you would need additional 75g ballast in the nose.
