Js 1400 and js 1400 for 90mm fans

I just ordered both of these motors the sale was to good. The 1400 for 70mm fans has a nice long adapter but why doe's the 1400 for 90mm fans not have this ? Is it not needed? Can you buy an adapter for this motor and where?

Most 70mm fans are designed to fit a 28mm motor max and the JS 1400 has a bell that's larger. Most 90mm fans accept 36mm. I don't work for them or even own one yet but that is most likely the reason for the adapter, so they can fit a big honkin' motor in a 70mm fan. Getting the bell into the cooling flow is also a plus but the negatives are the long shaft and the greater weight. The 1400 is not a high power setup for a 90 so it wouldn't be worth the cooling advantage. Maybe they will adapt the Extreme Scream for 90mms!?? Now that would be a high power set up.

My mistake the ls motor I'am talking about is the ls 1490,when bought from hl the list it as 1400 for 90mm fans I think the kv is 1830 with 7 pounds of thrust.
