Needs help with 400BB or geared BB...

Hello fellow e-flyers- I've never used a 400 BB or a gear drive BB before in any of my e-planes but wanted to know from you guys who uses these if it really makes for a longer flights? I have 2 Kyosho ferias that I enjoy easy flying during lunch breaks (my co workers end up enjoying a little show too) and on weekends-I set up one as a direct drive 400 motor using a 8 x 6 prop and the other one is the stock geared 400 using a 9 x 6 prop. I enjoy both of them but wonders how it would fly using either the 400 BB direct or replacing the stock gear drive to the BB gear drive or BB GEAR DRIVE ON A 400 BB????? Would this mean longer flights or more power? Thanks in advance for any input guys!
