I'd like to give it a whirl. So consider me chimed in. I'll probably miss the new thread though. I don't check the FPV forum that regularly...

Definitely interested Mr B. Might have to bolt a camera to my easytstar for a bit of low level flying.

Thanks mate.

It's a 'Ritewing' Zephyr 54".

The cameras is one I got locally form here:

http://www.allthings.com.au/PCB/Mod-...%20Camera.html

I swapped the stock lens (3.6mm) for a 2.9mm which unfortunately gives those blurry edges.

Good luck.

Where did you pick up the Ritewing? Are they easy to build?

'Easy to build' is dependent on your ability, having said that, I'm no guru and managed it ok.

Chris from RitewingRC will send a build DVD, if you follow that you'll be fine. You need to email him as the Zephyr's are still a special order I think.

Enjoy.

(ps. check Trappy's blog, really shows what this wing can do)

Cool, thanks for the info.

Is there something that make the Zephyr more suited than their other models?

Yeah, the airfoil is designed to lift a load. With respect to a flying wing anyway.

Anyone know what this is for - TX or receiver.

http://www.rangevideo.com/index.php?...6bea733f8d02fe

I did use it and got a good picture but not sure where I used it. I think I used it on the receiver.

Also where can this one be used TX and receiver?
http://www.rangevideo.com/index.php?...22082bab86cf89

Is the standard antenna all right on the RangeVideo 200mw and 500mw TX 900mhz or is there something better like the rubber duckie?

Hey firepower, i have both of them and have used them on my RX and TX without any problem. It doesn't matter, either way is fine.

Cheers, Kev.

Thanks for the info Kev.

I am just setting up the pan tilt with the patch and the second receiver. Guess the next things are the EagleEyes and OSD Pro.

I just found this recorder which should be all right.

looks pretty cheap but the specs seem ok?

Michael.
I guess no one has tried the camera mentioned above. They are so cheap they might be worth trying.

I just got today this camera:
http://www.securitycamera2000.com/pr...etCurrencyId=1

Looks like a really good picture for when I turned it on this morning. Unfortunately I can not record it at the moment. There is no audio.

It is a 540TVL high resolution 1/3 SONY CCD at US$43.

There are almost hundreds of other cheap cameras on the site. It is big and heavy for larger planes. After taking off the metal bracket it is 45grams or 59grams with the plugs. I usually cut them off. Also 35mm by 35mm.

Now I need to look through the site for a smaller one for smaller planes.

I mentioned the clear negative as a filter to fix the white trees. I only have slides which did not work. I can not find a negative yet to try it.
