So, if you have an affiliate in NZ, and they send to AU customers...
maybe I think 2 much hehehe.
would love to see an increase supply of camera range in your store. I have a 12v SN777, heard its bad for long range., am looking for alternative to go with my 300mw 1.3g vid link, which shld have much less noise.

The fat shark reciever is the best I have used with a 7dbi stick aerial, I have gone over 800m with this aerial and 10mw transmitter. The one it comes with isn't the best but with the 7dbi you have to watch out for the wing when you do a hand launch.
I have had it hit a couple of times on take off and end up with it half way down my face swearing at myself trying to get them back and trying to recover the plane at the same time after take off.

Just a tid bit on the side.

BTW the Mongrel is great to deal with too as he can get the parts for these things when you burn them.

No again I am afraid - Aus and NZ share the same standards.

2-4G-Wireless-Mini-CCD-Nanny-Camera-Lithium is the camera I use, great with velcro and goes on just about all my planes, this thing is great as it has it's own batt and the quality is ok too, You need to get the lense that the fatshark uses and then also make sure the battery is in place with some hot glue.

the aerial was originally purchased as a 1.2G from the supplier but when it showed up and I tried it on the 1.2 it was totally crap so I tried the aerial on the Fat shark and viola... absolutly blew me away I never bothered before as the Fatshark was useless with the original and the you beaut 5dbi that came with it.... They are listed as 1-2-GHz-7-dBi-Omni-GSM-rubber-Antenna
hope this is useful.

[edit] don't forget to give me a vote in the FPV-community vid of the month guys.

Any Aussies ordered from Canada before?

Its been 4 weeks and I'm getting a bit concerned my package might be lost forever.

I normally get stuff from the US and never had a problem but I don't know if 4 weeks + is possible for regular airmail from Canada.

Headplay sent me some spare's once. Didn't seem to take any longer than anywhere else. Did you get a tracking number?

gt35r, you north or south of the river? Any hints to where you fly?

Kev - will you share the link? $175 shipped is a bargain (almost too good to be true, if it's the HD version). Or do you mean $275?

No tracking or insurance, I cheaped out on the shipping for this one.

I'm north of river, sometimes fly at Yokine when its quiet or up in the dunes north of Perth. There really doesn't seem to be many decent places to fly, no matter where I go there are always people around and I like my privacy.

Kev that's not the hd version by the way.

If you are after the hd version..

Here is the cheapest 'surf' version I could find on ebay that ships to aus:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GoPro-HD-Surf...item19bb153374

Or if you are after the 'motorsport' version here is the cheapest I could find:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GoPro-Hero-HD...item3cac39f5d2

I hope to get one soon as well, not just for fpv, but for windsurfing, my other hobby
