Nice one Johno!

Was speaking to Simon and he swears by the Zagi from HK - I'm tempted for something zippy!!

zagi is fairly small mate... I really like the windrider bee evolution (www.windrider.hk) as its a little bigger. Ive also FPV'ed the smalled windrider wing and its also fantastic.

Ive been flying these wings since 2001 on slopes and for combat and can't talk them up enough..

Yeah - we use to fly a couple of Ele Bees down at Kambah. Although some crazies ran then on 4S and made the scream like a strangled cat! But man could the fly!!

I have a little Delta here, but I am not sure it would handle an FPV setup too well. It flies like a beast though. The prop is mounted mid-ship and it handles brilliantly. Bounces good too.

Here's a new wing for you, it's the Scorpion FPV that we are cutting. It's EPP and 54" span. so far testing has gone well.

Looks great mate! Is it a ritewing zephyr copy?

Are you selling them? If so, how much?

Cheers,

John

I don't know about a copy as Ive never seen a Zephyr in the flesh.
We will be selling them on request, but I haven't worked out a price yet, it will depend on what you want us to supply.
For the cores only they would be around the $110 mark.

I'd be interested to know a price as well... It'd be good to get one already laminated etc as I don't fancy that job (ie I've never done it before)...

We - as in Off The Edge Sailplanes.
The windrider bee is only a 48" wing and has alot less foam. The Scorpion FPV has almost twice the wing area than the Bee.
Also, do you know the cost of EPP foam in OZ? it's not cheep.

Very cool!! 54inch is a nice size for FPV too!!

I have a 48 inch Mcain wing and this thing is a bastard!! Apparently they got the foil wrong.
