Awesome airframe - surprised that there aren't a lot more of them out there!
Nice work guys !!

So you like this airframe? ... what sort of setup are you using? .. motor / prop / battery etc? How well does it carry the weight of the fpv gear?

Thanks,
Mark

I'm using:
- This Motor: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...er_2350kv.html
- 60A Plush ESC
- APC 6X5.5 prop
- 3S 2200 - 3000 mAHr battery - can take a wide variety of batteries - plenty of room to move them around to maintain the CoG.

I also run a Cyclops Storm OSD with RTH, and a #16V2 key fob cam.

Mine cruises at 85kmh and top speed 135kph, but I know that others are running much hotter setups and getting faster.

Very versatile airframe with heaps of space under the canopy for gear. Cheap. Flies fast, is good for aerobatics, floats in nicely for landing, flies well at different weights, easy to launch (much easlier than anFunjet). But - made of EPS, so I have lam film on the underside for protection. I bunch the contol gear all at the rear of the cockpit to allow for different size batteries.

Great Plane!

Nice rig Kahnx,
Everyone should have a cheap rig to use for prox/chase fun like this.
I honestly have more fun with my little wing than any other toy I own.

Less stress = more fun

Probably pretty lame compared to all your action packed videos but never the less here is my first attempt - Tricopter FPV (3 min 45 sec)

Great pics. I like the shots with your wing showing. The 360 degree servo works a treat. My skyfun shouldnt take too long to get back in the air. Just needs a new BEC and and some smaller elevons, might even put a new motor into it for a bit more grunt.
