Toledo spacial by hangar 9

this model was featured in the Jan. 2010 issue of Model Airplane News. The model was designed for electric power, but up to a 4 cycle 82 glow can be used for power from what hobbyzone said to me. In the MAN article the builder doesn't say anything about beefing up the fuselage to use a glow engine. Does anyone know anything about this or have any suggestions? I plan on using a Saito 4 cycle 56 if I do this.
Thanks

I was the product developer for the Toledo Special.

The Toledo Special is designed for electric, and both 2 or 4 stroke glow engines. No beefing up is needed.

I have flown the plane on a Saito .82 so your .56 should be no issue.

Also look at the manual on www.Horizonhobby.com to see how the plane is set up.

Hope this helps.

I agree the .56 will be fine for this bird.
