TF/SmartModel "500" size EC-145 grey from France

Hello,

Here is a post about the EC-145 for 500 size. Yes my dream comes true now.... i mean in few hours !!!
It is an Eurocopter-Kawasaki EC-145 (BK-117C-2)
Here is some pics about the big real one:

And here is mine out of the box from www.heli-scale.com in france (Smartmodel dealer), I will put a T-rex 500 inside.

First step: Painting inside the fuse for being more realistic at the end:

Build of the landing gear:

First build with fuse and landing gear (not fix at this moment) only for the pics....

to be continued...

I like that paint scheme, it's gonna be a beauty. I think I took a ride in that model heli once (memory lost to say for sure it was a BK, but that's what was buzzing the hospital all the time). Popular medivac chopper around here.

A small thing, I changed the colors delivered in black for Aluminium ( scratching the paint) because the original got a grey landing skid and not a black.

It's nice , I like it !

seb, your landing gear struts are reversed. The shorter strut goes aft and the longer one goes forward. The EC-145 sits nose high and tail down. I believe it was designed this way to make loading and unloading stretchers and cargo easier.

Your "Silver Bullet" is looking fine.
