Beautiful model Marc!! Nicely done.

I live just down the road from Milford in Lewes. This spring I'll get up to the boatyard to see the original Augusta if it's still there.

builders sea trials occurred this week with a major hiccup... nylon dogbone broke, ended up at the hobby store and found a replacement from a car that was all metal. had to mill the dogbone cups to accommodate the new one. Boat was delivered to Vinyard Shipard earlier today. She passed a rigorous thirty minute owner trials in barely above freezing temps.

These pics are from the builders trial in Reston VA.
Videos as well... from the chase boat and from inside and dock side

Augusta and Kissmet are on the hard on the rails right now and Vingette is at the narrows.. I'm not sure if Augusta is going to Kent Narrows this year. I know he rotates the boats around. But Sudler is usually more than happy to show people around...

Just walkting through the wood shop and metal shop looking at the old tools and machinery thats till work from the 1920's is impressive...

I plan to do it up in 1/16 scale, or 3/4" / ft., which will make it 30", plenty big enough---.
