Well considering Andy Chen posted it, you can gaurantee it is going to be a Starmax model. Since Hobby Lobby is a big buyer of Starmax products, it will be interesting to see if they "rape" our chances of having more than 1 vendor to buy from in the US.

Be sure that Banana Hobby will be marketing this as well under their "BlitzRCWorks" brand.

Maybe. I do not know who will sell.
The aircraft will be a huge improvement, including electronic equipment reliability.
Or you can say that we will always be very progressive.

Andy,

Please, please, please also offer it as a kit with just retracts and nothing else. No fan, motor, esc, servos, etc.

What size fan is it designed for?

Thanks,
Steve

That is really sweet looking. Looks like an 1/8 scale 120mm model. I like it a lot. But if Hobby-lobby is gonna sell it forget it then unless they do a bare bones airframe only kit. I bet they ask over $600.00 for a rtf.

Wow!!!! This one is going on my wish list however i bet it wont be imported into Aus. We miss out on a lot of good stuff. With a plane this big the box would be huge. It would cost bucket loads of coin if I ordered it from oversea and had it sent to Aus myself. Who ever makes this kit needs to make a F4. I would import one of those myself regardless of the cost.

Well - I guess I'll put the flame suit on.

WHY is it you put all the effort into something like this and still can't make it scale? Tails too small, nose not quite right, external stores way too big, external tanks way too small.

To top it all off - it's EPO??? While lots of guys like EPO - it's very difficult to glass, and something like this almost deserves to be glassed.

On the up side - it is nice to see a large model like this and the surface detail is awsome. Overall not bad.

Skyhawk,

I'm with you on the EPO and glassing. I glass all of the foamies that I get. WBPU (or poly-c in my case) just doesn't bond very well with EPO. I can see that if you just want to put it together and fly it then EPO is more durable but if you want to mod the airframe it's not great. Hence not flyfly MB for me.

Perhaps a version of each, airframe only please. Hope they do and for a fair price, as this could well make it to the building table.

Cheers

Matthew
