Jim, I haven't actually put a video recorder in the air yet so can't say if the vibe dampeners on the motors really work. I know shame on me. On the other hand the mounts worked well for me under the controller board and did remove some unwanted vibrations.

I've been meaning to try exactly this for a while, just not got round to it yet

They had a bunch of them in stock here:
http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g7/c...ews-Page1.html

when I ordered mine but I don't see the exact same ones now so can't guarantee they use the same size mounting hole or that they are as "mushy".

Does anyone have a picture where I can see how to mount the prop (EPP1045) to the RCTimer 750kV motor? I read about shortening the shaft (with dremel?) and mounting using tiewraps, but I don't understand how to do that...
I really need some help!

Second test, changed to version 4.5 .... Handsfull while trying to lift !!!.
Props out, and tested motors reactions. Yaw gyro had to be reversed, and the beast became a pet again..

Is this normal behavour or something changed without warning??
Arming with stick full right, disarm full left, gyros at 50% and atv kept at A:50%, E:50%, R:100 % .

Nice toy ! Thanks KK, Jakub, and the rest who answer so many questions.
BTW, still wating the cw props!!!

Lewta.
Here is a pic taken yesterday afternoon.

The motor closest to the camera looks like it is angled a bit.

I think it's on purpose : all props must be rotating the same direction, so all motors are angled to compensate yaw.

Im going to fly in "x" mode and wondering what direction will be the front?

I made a picture from some info I found on the fist side of this forum.

Could some one just tell me out from my picture what color dot that will face the front of the quad in "x" mode?

I hope the picture is right and easy to understand And maby help others

Culexus - which is the front will depend on how the "delta" mix (or "elevon" mix for Futaba) is set up.

Plan on the front being green, and if it it turns out to be red, just reverse the inputs to the delta mix.

Red is the front with default delta mixing.
For the rest (reversing inputs), I'll let you try and feedback, I personally wouldn't

That is right Bob. Also, to Quote Bob:
If there is no native "X" mode by software on you quad, to transform it from "+" mode to "X" mode, you just need to use "delta mix" (or "elevons" on Futaba) on your radio, or a delta mixer such as this one if your radio doesn't have delta mix.
It is as simple as that, that's all you need to do, no change at all has to be made on the quad, everything stays the same as for + (flight controller orientation and so on).

LOL you guys were actually bringing back a visualization of my mean physics theacher

Now here's another noob question, can anybody gives direction where should I look for basic electrical RC configuration? I'm sure it'll save weight if I can use motor's lipo for rx power but how do I reduce the voltage? Is this set up recommended or risky?
